This tropical superstar is a real eyecatcher thanks to the spectacular leaves. It's a real centerpiece plant for any indoor garden.
Alocasia, also known as the elephant’s ear, has large, beautifully patterned leaves. Despite the fact that it’s a sizeable plant, it still looks airy and elegant thanks to the tall, smooth stems that grow out of a tuber. Those stems can be plain, but can also have tiger stripes, and the leaf is equally remarkable.
The Alocasia originally found in Malaysia and Borneo. It is from the aroid family Araceae and is related to many other common houseplants
Prefers a bright and warm location but no direct sunlight as it will scorch leaves. Do not allow the soil to dry out. This plant does best in higher humidity.
