Ornamental foliage, caladiums offer spectacular color through the summer. With colors that range from red to a pale pink, to white and deep rose, they can enhance almost any shady location.
Do not allow the soil to dry out. This plant does best in higher humidity.
Interestingly Caladium goes into dormancy where leaves will die but after rest period will spring back to life. During this time less watering is required as plant is in a restful mode and its roots are not uptaking water as much.
