The fragrant spice of cardamomum plant was born in India and Sri Lanka. Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) is a perennial herbaceous plant 3-4 m high in the Ginger family. Cardamom is considered the king of spices. It ranks third in its high cost, after saffron and vanilla. Although we are mainly familiar with the uses of seeds of this spice, its leaves can be used in drinks and cooking too.
