The Aeschynanthus also known as Lipstick plant, lipstick vine, basket vine for its tubular burgundy red flowers which come out from the ends of the stems. It’s thick and glossy green foliage cascades on the stem in a vine-like habit. As a trailing epiphytes, similar to Hoya and orchids, they are found in their natural tropical habitat growing from tree branches and in rocks cracks. Perfect for growing indoors in a hanging basket or stand on bookshelf so that foliage can trail over the edge to be fully appreciated.

It is very undemanding plant for indoor plant collection. Given a warm and bright location it will reward with prolific blooms from summer to fall.
