Dypsis lutescens - Areca Palm ⌀19 ↑70 - 90cm

Pot size ⌀19cm

Height↑90cm

The Areca originates from the tropics of Southeast Asia, a climate with high humidity. The narrow, feathery leaves of this palm give the interior a tropical atmosphere.

Areca grows new "pins" that later unfold into new leaves from the center of the plant. The young leaf of the areca is light green, which changes to a slightly darker green as the leaves get older. If the plant develops withered leaf tips, they can be cut off with scissors.

The palms generally grow in clumps. The Areca plants actually consist of several palms that grow together. In addition Areca plants are highly air-purifying.

The areca palm is an easy-care plant that you can enjoy for a long time.
